Albany, NY - Hilton Garden
Sales Manager

Job Description: The Sales Manager, for the brand new Hilton Garden at Albany Medical Center, is responsible for establishing, developing and managing accounts. Generate sales through marketing campaigns including cold calls, sales blitzes and solicitation from franchised sales services. Network with professionals and businesses in organizations to generate future business. Learn competitors in the market and how to compete with them. Qualify in house guest for future business and potential sales leads. Complete and maintain daily, weekly and monthly sales tracking. Help coordinate yield management with the General Manager including the Internet. Maintain an active and visible position in the community. Participate in activities in the local community that the Hotel will be associated with. Effectively communicate with all guests and employees.

Job Requirements: Must have own transportation. Must maintain flexible schedule. Must be able to spend time out on sales calls. Must report to the General Manager  on a daily basis.

Director of Sales

The primary responsibility of this position is to maximize the profitability and return on investment of the hotel for the ownership.  As the principal company management person, this position chairs the staff meeting and serves as the final decision maker for all things concerning the welfare and safety of the hotel, its guests and its employees.  The General Manger is also responsible for the sales and marketing goals, the physical appearance of the hotel, proper and adequate staffing and all administrative duties necessary to fulfill the primary responsibility.
